About Amelia, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Clermont County, Ohio, Amelia is a modestly-sized village with about 5,000 residents. This community was named for a popular Ohio Turnpike tollgate operator by the name of Amelia Bowdoin, and her home still stands on West Main Street. An initiative recently took place to try to dissolve the Village of Amelia into two separate townships, but it survived and continues to grow today.

This small Cincinnati suburb has several interesting places to visit. There are many restaurants in the area that can suit the palette of any visitor, including Don Rigo, Campbell’s Barn Restaurant & Saloon, Redzone Neighborhood Grill, and Poochie’s Place. There are several specialty shops located in the community, some of the most popular of which include King Smoking Shop, Amelia Florist Wine & Gift Shop, and the Facet Jewelry Music & Pawn Whop.  During poor weather conditions, visitors may enjoy a trip to the Pierce Point Cinema to check out the latest Hollywood film, while guests in need of some rest and relaxation may prefer to book a service at the Face, Body and Soul Day Spa.

Weather conditions in Amelia vary with the changing seasons, so residents typically invest in both heating and cooling systems. During the winter months, an energy efficient gas or electric furnace is a necessity. Conditions are cold and snowy, with average high temperatures in the 30s. HVAC professionals recommend that residents have their existing systems serviced during the autumn months to make sure they’ll work properly when needed.

The summer months in Amelia may also be dangerous. Temperatures are warm to hot, with several days each season experiencing highs well into the 90s. High humidity will make it feel even warmer. With the right central air conditioner, residents can stay cool while also saving money on their monthly utility costs.
